We’re thrilled to share some exciting news with you. In our commitment to staying competitive and recognizing your incredible contributions, we have updated our pay rates, effective January 1, 2025. Please find the link to the updated pay scale document below for your reference.

Updated Pay Scale Effective July 1, 2024

Dear A Homemade Plan Care-giving Team,

We trust you’re off to a fantastic start in 2024! We’re pleased to inform you that we’ve updated certain pay rates affecting caregivers working with Clients in Montgomery County. These improved rates will take effect on July 1, 2024. Below, please find a link to the updated pay scale document.

🎉 Exciting Employment Document Updates Effective 1/1/2024! 🎉

Dear A Homemade Plan Team,

We’re thrilled to share some fantastic news with you – our employment documents have received a makeover! Your feedback and hard work have been invaluable, and we’re committed to ensuring that your experience with A Homemade Plan continues to be rewarding and fulfilling.

Here’s a quick overview of the exciting updates:

1. Pay Scale Upgrade: We understand the importance of fair compensation for your hard work and dedication. With this in mind, we’re delighted to announce an increase in our pay rate! This enhancement reflects our commitment to recognizing and rewarding the incredible contributions of our talented team.  Below please find the link to the official pay scale.

2. Mileage Reimbursement Boost: To support our employees who go the extra mile (literally!), we’ve increased our mileage reimbursement rates to $0.65/mile. Whether you’re taking a client to an appointment, refilling prescriptions, or picking up groceries, we want to ensure you’re fairly compensated for your efforts.  Please ensure that you indicate your destination or reason for travel in the app when clocking in/out. 

3. Addendum to Employment Contract: Your employment contract is the foundation of our professional relationship. We’ve carefully reviewed and updated it to align with the latest industry standards and to better reflect the values and expectations we share as part of the A Homemade Plan family. This is an official addendum to your contract. Please review the linked addendum below.

4. Paperless Pay Stubs and W-2s: In our commitment to sustainability and efficiency, we’re excited to announce that A Homemade Plan will now be going paperless for pay stubs and W2s. This move not only aligns with our environmental goals but also streamlines the process, making it easier for you to access and manage your financial information online. Please go to KTBSonline.com and click register for your digital pay stub.

5. Maryland Taxes Notice – “Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) Eligibility”: We want to draw your attention to an important document called “Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) Eligibility.” This notice provides essential information about eligibility criteria for this tax credit, offering you an opportunity to maximize your tax benefits.

Happy Holidays everyone!

We wanted to take this opportunity to thank each of you for being HERO’S. For almost two years now the world has certainly changed and you all have answered the call to care for our most vulnerable population. For that we are eternally grateful! We wish you and your families a Wonderful Thanksgiving and Happy Holidays!

To show our appreciation for your hard work, we are increasing pay rates. Below, please find some highlights to the new pay structure.

  • Effective 12/1/2021: Hourly pay rates for work conducted in all counties beside Montgomery County will go from $13.75 per hour to $14.50 per hour.
  • Effective 12/1/2021: Hourly pay rates for work conducted in Montgomery County is going from $15.50 to $16.00 per hour.
  • Effective 1/1/2022 : Live-in pay rates for work conducted in all counties beside Montgomery County will go from $152.75 per day to $162.50 per day
  • Effective 12/1/2021 : The pay rate for caring for 2 patients is now 20% more than the regular hourly pay rate.

Also, please remember that we have a referral program. You can earn a bonus by referring qualified friends and family to work as a Caregiver with A Homemade Plan. Please contact the office for more details.

Hello and Happy New Year! We hope that you are all doing well and are staying safe. 2020 was a year full of challenges and we would like to thank each one of you for your hard work and dedication this last year.

We are excited to announce that we are increasing pay rates! Effective February 1, 2021, we will be paying caregivers according to the new pay scale (please find the link below).
