A Homemade Plan, a Maryland based home care agency, has teamed up with Live! Casino & Hotel to provide playing cards to senior citizens. This initiative, named Building Bridges, will encourage seniors to stay active and social. A Homemade Plan will distribute playing cards that are provided by Live! Casino & Hotel to seniors in either their home or healthcare facility.
The benefit of playing cards include socialization, mental stimulation, increased dexterity, entertainment, and an increase in quality of life.
In addition to providing local healthcare facilities with playing cards, A Homemade Plan will also be providing seniors playing cards in-home and are encouraging in-home Care Providers to play card games with the seniors we serve.
